Plugins of the social network Facebook 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304 USA are integrated in our pages. You can recognize these Facebook plugins as such by the Facebook logo or the “like” button (German: “gefällt mir”) on our page. An overview of the Facebook plugins is available here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins
When you visit our pages, the plugin establishes a direct link between your browser and the Facebook server. This gives Facebook the information that somebody has visited our page from the computer with your IP-address. If you then click on the Facebook like button while you are logged into your Facebook account, then you can link the contents of our pages with your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to associate the visit to our pages with your user account. We wish to point out here that we, as provider of the pages, receive no knowledge of the contents of the data transferred to Facebook and no knowledge of how Facebook uses it.
8. Data Privacy Declaration for Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, which is a web analysis service of Google Inc. Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files that are stored on your computer and make it possible to analyse how the website is used by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, then your IP address will first be shortened if it is located in a member state of the European Union or in one of the other countries that are a party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the entire IP address first transmitted to a Google server in the USA and then shortened there. Google uses this information on behalf of the operator of this website to analyse your usage of the website, to compile reports on website activities and to render to the operator of this website further services associated with website and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google. You can prevent storage of the cookies by setting your browser software accordingly, but then you might not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. Beyond this, you can also prevent collection of the data (including your IP address) that is generated by the cookie and related to your usage of the website and thus prevent processing of this data by Google in that you download and install the browser plugin that is available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
Further information about this is available under http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en and http://www.google.com/intl/en/analytics/privacyoverview.html (general information about Google Analytics and data privacy).
Finally, please take note that on this website Google Analytics has been extended by the code "_gat._anonymizeIp();" so that anonymized collection of IP addresses (IP masking) is assured.
